WHAT IS A PODIATRIC PHYSICIAN AND SURGEON?
Podiatrists are doctors of podiatric medicine (DPM) who are graduates of accredited U.S. podiatric medical schools. All of the doctors at Cambridge Foot and Ankle have completed surgical residency programs, as well as additional training in advanced surgical procedures.
Cambridge Foot and Ankle is the only podiatric group in America to have four doctors who are board certified by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery in reconstructive rearfoot/ankle surgery. This is the highest level of certification by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery. It is your assurance that the doctors of Cambridge Foot and Ankle have the highest level of cognitive knowledge of podiatric surgery including the diagnosis and management of foot and ankle disorders, deformities, and trauma to those structures that affect the foot, ankle, and leg function.
